Title: The Minimalist

Gender: Female

Location: Portland, Oregon United States

About Me:

I am an artist, musician, and writer. I also keep books for our family construction business comprising of my husband, 24 year ols son, and various employees. I had never done this before this year. So it is a big challenge for me.

I have taught elementary and middle school and for the last nine years was a school librarian/media specialist. ( That has made me somewhat of a Mac expert in case anyone needs some help!) I left teaching to enjoy my family and to find my way through the second half of my life.

I have been married for 26 years and have one adult son. Our family and friends are very close and we are rowdy, merry makers! We value our Irish heritage highly! I love building a sense of community around my small family and helping my friends.

Writing is another of my passions.  am obsessed with saving the environment, so I write a blog about Minimalistic Living:

http://minimalisticlifestyle.blogspot.com

I am currently doing a watercolor series of goddesses. They have always inspired me. I love Celtic art!
I have started a new web site that I am very excited about!

http://banbasartfulrealm.blogspot.com

Where I am sharing my artwork that centers around mythology from all cultures and showcasing, interacting with  and linking to other artists that I admire.
